Scheduled my dog for his first appointment in the evening. Got a call shortly after asking to come in earlier instead.. I agreed and arrived at the time they asked. After 5 minutes of examining my dog they said they said they weren’t able to handle him and gave him back to me. My dog is very shy and nervous. Felt extremely rushed, unprofessional. Sensed a lot of impatience from staff. Wouldn’t recommend.
They've got everything you need for a new pup. We bought some supplies ahead of adopting, but brought her in to try on harness sizes, etc and the staff was super fur-iendly and knowledgeable.
They have been great during COVID with curbside pick up, when I have gone in store is really clean. Before I got my puppy I was looking for a blanket to get to give to him to remember the sent of his litter, I told the manager what I was looking for and he pulled at a bag and handed me a PetSmart blanket, I put everything else I had on the register and they didn't charge me for the blanket, they said it was a gift. Considering I didn't have a pet at the time and that was my first time there I can assure you that made a lasting impact. I tried to pay it forward toward one of their charities, but the act of kindness was what really sat well with me.
