Dog went in to be fixed (male) one of his nuts wasn’t dropped, yet when he was younger they checked this and at that time it was ok. 3 different incisions to try and find it. One was 4 inches long! Dog looks like he was attacked by a cougar. Bill was almost 500 bucks. Paid in full.nDog needed a new cone, chewed up the other one. And you charged me another 15 bucks..... I find this cheap and petty. And will never be back. Save that for tourists not locals that have been bring dogs repeatedly.
I have had nothing but problems with my dog ever since we brought him here for knee surgery. He has since broken out in numerous rashes and has had multiple infections, none of which ever occurred before being opened up.nUpon bringing up these issues, all the staff did was recommend I put him on Benadryl just to get me out of their hair. Nice enough people but they are far too busy to provide adequate care for you and your pet. I would shop around before settling for this Vet.
We recently lost our 17-year old Jack Russell terrier, Buddy. He was cared for by Whitefish Animal Hospital for most of those years. Every person we’ve ever had contact with at WAH through the years (which is many) has been caring and professional. We extend a very special thank you to Dr. Melissa Genovese who was Buddy’s regular vet over the years. She was always calm and gentle with him, which is so important with an active, assertive Jack Russell. She wasn’t on duty his last, very difficult day, but Dr. Laura stepped In with great professional kindness, and made a difficult day bearable. We love you Whitefish Animal Hospital, and we highly recommend you to anyone who is looking for an excellent vet!
Cannot say enough good things about Whitefish Animal Hospital! The veterinarians, technicians, and office staff are all super helpful and super friendly. In particular, I am grateful for the help with diagnosing and treating one of my dogs with an unusual issue. Dr Laura has gone above and beyond to help us out. I so appreciate her knowledge and her caring. Thank you to everyone there!
I was traveling from Seattle with my elderly dog when she became extremely ill. They fit me in for an emergency and tried to help but my little dog was in heart failure and passed away very quickly. It was a horrible traumatic experience in part because of covid, I couldn't be with her when she was in her final moments. Everyone working here was extremely kind and compassionate. It made a horrible experience bearable. Thank you for all your kindness.
