Dr Hanson is by far the most knowledgeable and helpful Vet in Rexburg. Anytime I have a question about our chocolate lab, he knows exactly what to recommend. Not to mention, the staff here is so friendly and helpful every time I walk in, I always get greeted right away and treated so well. We also go here for our dog's grooming needs, and the groomer is really good too! I highly recommend this place to anyone needing the Dr's care, grooming and even boarding. Amazing all around.

Top notch organization. Procedure was more extensive than the original quote but they still honored the quote. Great people and reasonable cost.

We will never return to this vet. We took our Dane in, in the morning for a procedure. When we picked him up, the doc was too busy to talk to us. Really? Who does that? Our dog was supposed to have his nails trimmed while he was there and they did a bad job of that. They didn't tell us about separate fees, charged us for procedures we didn't even ask for or approve of, we had to ask specific questions to understand what our options were or what the steps were, and over all charged us way too much for the amount of care and service they provided.

I went here for the first time to see if my cat had a UTI. I would say I had a very mixed experience. The staff I interacted with were nice and I was able to get in quickly, but beyond that I felt like there was a lack of communication. The vet was unable to locate my cats bladder for a sample because he is overweight. I asked to get his weight and the vet said he would get a goal weight for him so that we can get him healthier. At the end of the appointment, they brought out my cat with some antibiotics to try for a UTI we could never confirm. I never found out his weight and I asked the lady at the front desk what I should do and she said to reduce his food, but she didn't work with my cat so she wouldn't know his weight. While her suggestion was valid, I was hoping that someone that had worked with him could give me more specifics. I wasn't given any information about the antibiotic we were given. I asked the lady at the front again and she just said to refrigerate it. I take my cat home and notice he isn't eating and then he vomited what little he did eat. We called to ask what we should do and all we were told was we could bring him in for another check up. We had to google for ourselves to see what this medication's side effects and dangers were. The price for the visit, nail trim, and meds was reasonable. It sounds like from all the reviews that Dr Hansen is the best part of this place. If I could visit with him I would return, but I think I'd rather just go someplace else.
