Emergency Vet Hospital of Coeur d'Alene

Just wanted to share how special this place is. We had to put our Bambi down. Everyone at this vet was amazing. They cried with us and they cared. Today in the mail I got a card from them and Bambi’s paw prints. Everyone of the staff signed the card. I will be forever grateful. Thank you for the amazing work you guys do.

My pup severely sliced his paw front to back. I didn’t want to take him to an emergency vet but knew I had no choice. The staff here was fantastic from the moment we ran in the door. They explained everything in detail to us and even brought us back to see the extent of the cut so we knew what we were working with moving forward. Dr Dru was very thorough in her explanation of the wound and how best to treat it to get it healed. Our pup had a follow up today with our regular vet and they said his incision is healing beautifully. I would recommend this place above any other emergency vet in our area.

I had to bring one of my.pups in there this evening and my overall experience was good. I gave them a call and explained what was going on. They let me know what to expect when I arrived. When I got there they were prompt in greeting me and they got us right back into a room. The doctor came in and assessed the situation, provided an estimate for care and was honest about what was needed. They let me know an approximate time frame to perform the work. I left and came back and they were ready with him in the time frame they expected. Thank you for your efforts this evening.

I am very impressed with this emergency hospital. Dr Choker was thorough, caring, and took excellent care of my 9 year old boxer over the weekend. She explained everything in great detail to me. He now has a diagnosis of megaesophagus, which is no picnic. However, I left with him feeling confident I knew how to care for him and what appropriate follow up would be. I loved being able to visit him while he was there for over 24 hours. I highly recommend this emergency hospital.

I'm very grateful and happy with the care our cat recieved here. She ate part of a plant that can be lethal to them. Before going, we researched, online, what getting her treated would cost; which involved at 48 hour stay over, hooked up to an I.V. The price range we saw was 1.2 - 4k. That's what we expected to pay if we left our cat with them. The final bill was a little over $700. Not only was the cost great; but, I am very confident, after talking with them, and seeing how they treated our cat, during the initial exam and release, that they genuinely care about the animals they treat. She is doing very well; so, it seems they did an excellent job.nThank you, so much!
