Con and Pam of the Zeyer family are absolutely wonderful, well spoken, loving people. They accommodated my family through the passing and funeral plans of my grandma. Her casket was absolutely beautiful- from the color, to the design and the quality.... spot on! The funeral went seamlessly and we truly were touched by their dedication and Heartfelt-ness through itnAll. Pam called us regarding Every detail to make sure we received exactly what we wanted and needed. Con brought forward so much comfort to our family. Very professional, awesome people! Thank you a million and ten!

Great establishment for handling funerals. Older facility and yet homey feel to it. Folks are genuine and tender to families.

They are very kind and considerate. They will help you through your time of grief with an understanding heart. I highly recommend them.

We were so disappointed in this funeral home. My 96 year-old mother stated she wanted to use this funeral home because “they do a lot of LDS funerals.” Um. . . ok. So, when she passed away, Zeyer was called, and the two gentlemen who picked her up (she died at home) were very professional and respectful of her. We appreciated that very much. The next day we went to Zeyer, having emailed them a copy of her obituary so they could get started on their paperwork - and also so they would feel they knew a bit about her before we met with them. When we arrived, it was obvious that the intake person had not read the obituary, and he even stated he had not. We made the arrangements for a cremation, and as Covid-19 had made funerals impossible the first week of April 2020, that was a fairly straightforward process. Please be aware that if they say, “That’s a service we provide” that actually translates to, “That is an additional fee.” For example, if you want a person cremated in “temple clothes” - they charge an outrageous $350 for that “service.” Now, the family or hospice person can dress the person in temple clothes FOR FREE before the person is taken to the funeral home of course, but when you are told by the people who pick her up, “Oh, that’s a service we provide” you allow them to take her dressed in her everyday clothes. THEN, the next day, we were told of the price for the “provided service.” So, we fought that charge - but BUYER BEWARE. We also ordered death certificates and an update to her headstone with her date of death. We paid in full that day, April 6th. When we received the death certificates two weeks later, the certificates had incorrect information concerning the place of my mother’s birth - information included in her obituary BTW, and the certificates had to be corrected and reordered. That took an additional 17 days, which delayed our ability to begin probate. Today, June 18, 2020, when my sister and her husband came here from SLC to dedicate the grave, we were shocked to discover that the headstone had not been updated. My sister was so upset, she cried. When I called to find out why the headstone was not updated, I was told the update of the headstone “had never been ordered, but now it was, and it will be done in a few weeks.” That was the final straw. The owner of Zeyer called us to apologize. Too little, too late. As I said, buyer beware. My suggestion: Choose Dakan’s Funeral Home.
