Always a pleasure to deal with Arlene and Bill! Today I picked up the last little bits for Christmas. Can always find a great gift here. Food in the cafe is always nice. Very relaxed friendly atmosphere. Old fashioned customer service. Can't say enough good things about the experiences I've had at Heartland over the years!
The food here is good. I typically get the hearty breakfast. The bacon is typically goid and the potatoes are seasoned nicely. If you like your potatoes a little more on the well done side make sure to ask them not to deep fry them because dending on the day, you'll get the deep friend rather than on the grill a little longer. Watch out for the church rush there. After 10 am or so on Sundays it is near impossible to get a table unless you reserve one.
I really enjoy coming in here. Great food, specials and prices. The wine shop and candle shop are excellent. I haven't stayed in the rooms, but the architecture is really pleasing.
