Well the experiences vary and seem completely random when something spontaneous happens in your range of view minutes or sometimes hours of one another.nnI appreciate the convenience and the position this has to the community surrounding it. My issue is the fact it seems to not always be open - now because I only understand what people exclaim concerning the job itself, SEPTA and whatever else employers tangled around in the way it's seemingly being managed - I won't give simple answers obviously ignorant statements because of my own grievances or emotions about how it's ran - I would just like to point out that it should be noted that it can be open- it should be. Too many kids up till young adults (about 22) have been (for a lack of a better phrasing or word) trapped when it came to that being maybe the last chance of returning home as safely as it can be - given the other others may not be advised at this time of night. Whatever can be done so I may understand why it isn't opened as much as it should be (even much before the current pandemic) -, I just want to understand what is going on and what levers and pulleys are at work.........nnBut 46th St Station, especially it's murals- nostalgia is a helluva drug.ud83dude03

Septa 46th and market station is both convenient and dangerous at the same time. Don't be surprised to see pop up illegal vendors at the corners at any timenThe area is totally restricted for vending so if you decided to purchase from the food cart vendors beware they are illegal and if you get food poisoning its on you. The escalators here are often broke. I do believe they have a elevator. The area is a bit dangerous there is a housing project but I'm not saying the housing project is all bad I just want to let you know there is one..Its a very good stop for shopping since it connects you to aldi supermarket and a block up to Forman mills. You can buy a septa key pass and they have a teller. The trains run pretty fast. If your not from the area try to travel during the day. The 64 bus is the only one that stops in front of 46th and market. The buses to center city are on chestnut street one block away.

This station has several card machines so their is rarely a line when getting a single trip or refilling your card. Their are ten turn styles for quick access incase you are late for the train. The attendant is a bit short fused but what Septa employee isn't. They also have two escalators and an elevator for great access

Clean,efficient and well lit. There are different options to pay your fair. The next stop heading east is 40th street station, and the next stop heading south is 52nd street. Market frankford train making all stops!!!
