My father Aaron passed away on 9/7 unexpectedly. In going through such a difficult time Shaw and Sons handled everything right! The staff are caring and friendly. I really can't say enough about them. Global Atlantic was planning to only give dad the face value of his policy and that was a tough situation to face during an already sad time. Shaw and Sons made everything go right and my father got the send off he deserved. Please consider Shaw and Sons when planning for the end times for the people you love and care about the most. They will be there for you! I want to give a big thanks to Jaimine (owner), Dan, and Gary (funeral directors) and Gary stood with us at the church service and gravesite. The office personnel were really helpful with questions we had. I love these folks. We will never forget how helpful you were and how much peace of mind you gave us! Always forever in our hearts for taking such good care of my dad when he was in your hands. Dad (Aaron) I hope you were watching from above. I haven't dried all of my tears yet for you dad but know you got the best of the best send off into your next journey. Shaw and Sons did right by you dad! Both are forever in my heart!

I would not recommend this business at this time, when my father-in-law passed away it felt like we were doing most of the leg work and I don't really feel like they helped us out a lot during this time. when a loved one dies the last thing you want to deal with is details and that's all I ended up doing was dealing with the details I had to initiate a lot of contact I had to initiate a lot of next steps and I feel like a lot of that should have been taken care of.

The team of people at Shaw & Sons are a wonderful and professional group of people dedicated to earning the trust of every family that walks through their door. Highly Recommended!

My mother passed away recently; totally unexpected and sudden. I had heard of Shaw & Son's having grown up in the area so it was our obvious choice. We scheduled an appointment for the following day to start making arrangements. We met with George. My first was impression was quite honestly not a good one. Nobody there shook any of our hands or offered any sort of condolences. He took us into what resembled a conference room and just got straight to it..starting asking questions about Mom; birthplace, etc and then showed us price sheets. We had no idea what we were doing. It would have been nice to have been told how that whole process works and what to expect. Once the ball sort of got rolling, the rest of our experience was very satisfactory. George was very patient with us as we talked out options and made decisions we were not in the right frame of mind to make. Thank you for your help.
