A gorgeous property in the rolling hills of the Palouse that's home to many (mostly) farm animals that's been rescued from slaughter, neglect, abusive situations, etc. All the animals here are very well provided for with all daily needs exceeding expectations (i.e. regular food plus enrichment foods like fresh produce and/or bugs for appropriate animals) as well as full medical care if needed. The founder of this nonprofit has many years of experience working with animals of all kinds and you can tell she's dedicated to the well being of the animals at Blackbird Ranch through her network of donors & volunteers, ongoing efforts to improve the lives of the animals, and good relationships with other animal sanctuaries around the country!
