So I've been using them for years. They save my kittens 10 years ago.nLast week I had to put one of my cats down. When I brought her is to get checked out he gave me a straight up no none sense approach. Didn't try to sell me on tests and procedures that would go nowhere. He told me she had a mass (cancer) and to not let her suffer. As hard of a pill as it was to swallow I appreciate the honesty. I took her back under 48 hours later and had her out down as she was quickly deteriorating. That process was nice and peaceful and I really thank and appreciate them for the whole thing. They made a really tough moment a little easier. I'll continue to go back.
If I hadn't found another vet to follow through on this vets promise, my dog and her puppies would have died. Exercise caution when trusting this vet's office. We had an x-ray done at a reproductive vet and we told we were in trouble with our dog.. The puppies were too big for her to birth. We wanted to at least let her try to birth naturally so we called this vet's office (which has been our regular vets office for years now) and asked the vet to be on standby - to which he said he would. He requested that we inform him of the temperature drop and that he would be on hold for us that night should we need an emergency C-section. So, we called yo let them know that her temp had dropped. We were then informed that he would not be on standby for us - our vet of the last 5 years had abandoned us when we really needed him. It was very unprofessional and quite terrifying - to have your vet make you a promise like that and not follow through with it. If I hadn't've found another vet at the last minute, relying on this vets office would have killed my dog and her puppies. I will never trust this vet again - and neither should you. We now go to Alpha Animal Hospital - they were absolutely fantastic. Kind, courteous, professional, and quick to do what needed to be done.
This vet place was sooo terrible. I booked my puppy an appointment only because it was one of the few places that was open on Sunday. I walked in and they said I needed a leash and the vet wasn’t even there yet. They never communicated on the phone that I needed any of that. So I drove home and then came back. As I walked in the doorbell rang and and no one even came. I walked out of there and drove home. They never even called back. Would not recommend whatsoever. They don’t seem reliable whatsoever.
My mother in law's beloved cat Sampson was taken to this vet with a fungal skin condition. The veterinarian opted to open him up with and unnecessary and expensive surgery instead of getting him the antifungal medication he needed that was a short distance away in Burnaby. Sampson died in our arms the next day. The only thing I can think of WHY the vet did this was because...it made him more money. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO THIS VET.
Very professional and quick to respond with an emergency we had with our cat who was experiences symptoms of a stroke. Within minutes they were able to diagnose, and on the phone didn't turn us away like several other vets around the area. Would highly recommend them and only them if you have a pet emergency in Abbotsford.
