The staff had a hard time answering questions if they even have pet play pens in the store

I didnt know pet frogs were a thing but I could have been talked into one because she was cute

Thay always have what I'm looking for. And the workers are always friendly and helpful

This petsmart location is appalling! I went to purchase an air pump and see the fish. I’m not usually one to be dramatic so I truly mean it when I say the tanks were horrific. Algae had taken over almost every tank to the point where you could hardly see inside. Half the tanks that actually had fish in them had no circulation and you could tell the fish were suffocating. Out of what few fish they had, there were way too many dead fish to count. You could tell that some had been dead for a long time. I won’t go into the graphic details but let’s just say there was algae growing on what was left of at least one of them. Coming out of quarantine, with there not being very many fish in the store to care for, you would think a little more care could be done to keep the fish and customers happy. There was an employee walking around “feeding the carnivores” who could have easily netted out all the dead. It’s not fair to the fish to be put in these conditions to die a slow, painful death. It’s not fair to the customers to a)have to see such horrific care of these animals, and b) to only have a selection of dead or dying fish. Petsmart, PLEASE either start taking better care of your fish or stop bringing them in. Fish are not disposable. Fish have lives too. Fish are living, breathing animals just like cats and dogs. They deserve so much better than they get.
