guys, there are so many vets in Bellingham and i’m willing to bet they are all better than Village Vet. i brought my 6 y/o beagle mix in for a broken nail. i had discussed with the vet tech that i only needed the nail remedied as i didn’t have money for a full checkup (college student hello) we discussed the rough estimate and payment plan while my pup was in the office. when he was returned to me, his ears were soaked in vomit and i was told he threw up because of the anesthetic. not only that, but the vet performed a general checkup “while they were at it” that tacked on an additional $100 to my bill. no one should have their pet returned to them reeking of throw up, no one should be charged for additional services without consenting to them, and no one should visit this vet clinic. the women at the front counter were kind and accompanied me the best they could with payment options, but the vet that worked on my dog was cold and impersonal and i will never bring my dog back to this clinic.

We have been clients for 20 years and cannot say enough about the great care, compassion and kindness they have given my dogs . Dr Bangert and Dr Trimble are awesome as well as the staff!nThank you!!

Excellent service they do a package for puppies with all of the necessary vaccines at a discounted rate and then offer a percent off a spay or neuter when your puppy becomes of age if you purchased the vaccines package. Dr. Grinstead is wonderful and answered all of my questions and suggested a great puppy food. All of the ladies upfront are super sweet and always love to see Aurora Borealis (my puppy) they pet her and give her treats and make it a fun time for her.

Village Veterinary Hospital has been wonderful with the variety of animals we have. They've seen our hamster, birds, and our cats and done wonderfully with each. I appreciate that when they don't know something (particularly about hamsters since there isn't as much research on them), they'll take time to go find the best answers possible. When my cat wasn't feeling well, they made time to squeeze him in even on a fully booked day. I highly recommend them for any pet care needs.
