I have been going to this location for 16 years. All the staff are amazing and compassionate. They helped me from when my dog was a puppy up to his final days. I would not take my fur babies to anyone else.

Today I had an appointment for my cat (third trim) to get his nails trimmed. I was NEVER told there would also be a charge for a checkup! Was there 2X before and only charged $16.95 for nail trim. Today I was charged over $61.00 for trim. They charged me for a wellness check the cat never got. Will never return! Also they overcharge for Slide Litter. It’s only $13.00 for 20 pound bag at Target!

Very patient and caring. Our family is using their cremation services for the third time now, as we have just lost our beloved Buddy. Their prices are very good.

I cannot recommend this Banfield location more highly. I was in a bind because we recently moved to the area and my cat hurt his paw and none of the local vets would take a new patient even though he couldn't put weight on it. I called Banfield Cranberry and they were able to see him the same day - once I told them about the severity of the issue and they identified he might need surgery, they asked us to come ASAP so that there would be time for surgery that day if needed.nnThey were transparent with their pricing and showed me all the potential treatment options and their associated costs before we made any decisions. They patients explained the pros and cons of each and the plan B if we went with one treatment and it didn't yield the results we were looking for. All of the staff were friendly and demonstrated great care for my cat and me. I have now taken both cats to this vet and they are great about following up after an acute issue to check on how the cats have been doing since they were seen and started medications.nnI didn't know anything about the Banfield system before going in to this location. It is a national chain and the cats' records are in the enterprise Banfield system and can be accessed from any location if we happen to be traveling with the cats or were to move. They also offer a few different tiers of care plans, which is nice if you want to have costs spread out more evenly over the course of the year (it also encourages you to do a lot of preventative care for your pets, which is great). It isn't insurance but it does cover different routine visits based on the plan and differing % discounts on any treatments/medications needed outside of routine care. There is also a discount for the second pet if you are enrolling two in the program.nnFor cost context, the non-plan fees for these common cat vaccinations are (they are all zero additional payment on any of the plans):nFVRCP (distemper) - $28.65nFeline leukemis (FelV) - $30.86nRabies - $24.24nnThese are a slightly lower than what I paid when I took one of my cats to the Fox Chapel VCA before. I really appreciated that Banfield made sure to share the options and costs before doing anything and did not pressure me to go for a high-cost treatment; in fact, they supported first trying a less invasive, lower cost option before giving my cat an x-ray if his foot issue didn't clear up.nnI couldn't be more impressed by this Banfield location. I am so glad that I found them.

Cranberry office has always been great with us! Natalie and Vicky were great at the front desk today, and Dr. Shiflett took very good care of our cats for their bi annual exam. Very professional, caring and informative about everything. The whole team took great care of us today as always.
