We just relocated from Chicago to Pittsburgh. Changing vets was a daunting task as we loved our vet in Chicago. We did a lot of research and decided to transition care to Dr.Della Penna and her team at the Family Vet Care Center. Dr.Della Penna is absolutely wonderful. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional and an excellent collaborator. We are so happy to know our pups are in excellent hands in Pittsburgh!
I took my dog KC there for the first time. I was so impressed. They got her right away and was diagnosed shortly. My first visit was free and they were nice enough to give her a complimentary nail trim. I will definitely come back when needed. Everybody including the techs and Dr were so nice! Very affordable! Thanks for taking such good care of my doggie!!!!
Hands down the best veterinarian i have ever dealt with. We moved our 3 cats from a location in Carnegie that just didn't seem to care for our animals the way the should be cared for. Since moving them we had to visit the family vet center numerous times in the last few weeks one of which being an emergency surgery to save our cats life due to complications with her pregnancy. They are always so professional, helpful, kind, from the vet techs to the doctors there all awesome. Dr. Della Penna we truly appreciate you and everything you've done for Cali and Dakota so far Thanks for just being there when we needed ya!
My own Vet couldn't get me in, and my 1 year old Cat was sick. They got me in right away, even though I was new. Everyone is so nice, and they took care of my young kitty, and gave my 6 year old his vaccinations, to keep him up to date. I will be using them from now on, after being with my other Vet for 18 years. I really loved all of their personalities.
I took our husky mix here for the first time last week, and even with COVID protocols they managed to make it a positive experience. The vet tech was so sweet, and I really appreciated that Dr. Della Penna came out to my vehicle after her exam to update me on my pup’s health. After going to a different vet every year for the past 3 years because we weren’t impressed with the care, I’m glad to say we finally found one we will go back to again!
