Excellent customer service for the humans and superior medical services for their furry friends. Competent veterinarians whose professionalism is comforting. You'll pay for this level of care and se Irvice, but it's worth it.

I used to think this was the best vet clinic in olympia. They are in general very good. However a vet who was there for just a couple of months identified my dogs ear infection that had gone undiagnosed for years. Poor thing had been itching and rubbing his ear on the rug for years. When he had a stroke they couldn't get him in for a quick exam. I had to find another vet. Wait times on phone are extremely long.

Called about my dogs foot in hopes to get him seen. Was told they were booked till October but the rep said she would talk with the doctor to see if they can get my dog in. The nice receptionist said she would call back to let me know. Still waiting for that call but didn’t want my dog to wait, so the next day I called Steamboat. They got me in right away. Now, those guys are great!

Such a pleasant experience. My cat hadn't been to the vet in years and the doctor and assistant were incredibly kind, understanding, and even reassuring. They asked a LOT of questions, which i appreciated, as i forgot to mention some things. The doctor had to give us some bad news, but was caring in how he told us. He gave many suggestions for future care but understood we might not be able to afford it all. My boyfriend's family has been using this vet for years, for good reason! Thank you to everyone at South Bay, the work you all are doing is so important and even during trying times, you all do it with a pep in your step and a smile on your face.

To get through to the front desk, I have left voicemails that are not returned for weeks. When you call in, you are put on lengthy holds repeatedly. The doctors are wonderful once you get into the exam rooms, but the front office offers poor customer service communication and the response time is bad....don’t think they ever check voicemail system. You have to cross your fingers that you will eventually call and get through. It’s a shame and causes undue frustration in pet owners who are trying to schedule and relieve non-emergency pain of their animals.
