Werntz Memorial Animal Hospital

I caller Werntz Memorial because I had a sick kitty, but it seems during covid there aren’t any vets taking new patients. (I called 10 vets before calling Werntz!) When I called Werntz, they were very friendly and assured me they could see my cat only a few days after I called. I took kitty there on the day of my appointment. The vet office is a little off the beaten path up a gravel road on a hillside. They are currently “curbside”, but they were quick to come out to speak to me and take my cat to be seen by the vet. At each turn, the vet came out to talk to me about what he was seeing and the best course of treatment. There was no time during which I didn’t know what was happening inside. When my kitty was brought back to the car, she appeared calm and I was given medication bundled in with an ice pack since it needed to be kept cold. Payment was taken at my car. Altogether, this was a great experience with a caring vet & his team. Werntz Memorial will now be my go to vet for both cats!

We (my whole family, myself included) have been taking our pets to Dr. Sherer for many years now, we trust him implicitly with our pets. He is very professional, knowledgeable and takes time for the pets as well as the owner. You can trust him and his team caring for your pets, as he always has their best interest at heart. We will only entrust our pets to his care. Its quality care and much more affordable then some of the other vets around. Also, It’s worth the drive if you don’t live close by. And though they’re very busy and they are still very responsive and always make time to answer all your questions and never rush you. I would refer this vet to anyone with a pet, absolutely!

DR. SHEARER is the best! Laid back, but informative and will spend time to answer all your questions. Office is small but with Covid they have a carside pick-up and drop-off which is helpful.

I needed an emergency vet appointment. After explaining to the girl who answered what was going on with my pitt lab she ask me to bring her in immediately. I rushed her there and they took her back. The vet came in and turned her around, took her temp and said test her for lyme. My poor baby has lyme disease! They saved her! If she would not have listened and not made it so I could bring her in, we may have lost her. I would recommend them to anyone!

It was a great experience visiting Werntz! I recently had my dog neutered, the surgery went well, my pup recovered much faster than I anticipated! Thanks to Doctor Sherer!nnDoctor and the staff are all informative and friendly. I appreciate that Werntz is doing curbside only. They did an awesome job keeping me informed about tests they did and what they found. They have in-house lab testings, which only takes 20 mins, and I’m usually good to go with lab results and meds in a short amount of time.
