We found Dr. Bender when it was time to say goodbye to our last dog and then to check out he newest one when she arrived. I just wish i'd found this clinic earlier. Their demeanor is respectful of your knowledge and love of your animal, their answers to your questions are straightforward, and their awareness of budget is a welcome relief.

Dr. Bender is honest and experienced and was great with my older dog who is generally quite anxious at the vet's office. The COVID policies here are also well implemented.

My family has been coming here for our pets for about 12 years. Dr Bender is by far the best vet in town. He truly cares for our animals and never sugarcoats anything. He is an honorable vet with years and years of experience.

Just as I take great care in finding the right Naturopath for my son that resonates with both of us, I also took great care in finding the right vet for my puppy when I first got her. I live in Louisville so did a quick google search, read some reviews, and went with my gut. True to my initial feelings, Dr. Bender, upon first meeting him, is exactly the kind of vet I could have hoped for! Kind, gentle demeanor, and very patient with not just animals, but also their human parents and kiddo in tow! I could call him up asking questions, and he would do his best to respond without asking me to come in and charge me a fee, as I'm sure most vets would do. I even brought my pup in one time to have a little cactus needle removed from her paw. He didn't charge me. Also, he aligns with same values on how to raise/train puppy, lawn care (ha! aka pesticides are not necessary! let those dandelions grow!) and overall approach in life it seems. Very happy to have found him and grateful for his care. The front desk / assistants are very kind, especially Kriti. They will always happily ask questions to Dr. Bender on my behalf if he is not avail to take a call, and they always call me back w the answers! Also, no other clients ever seem to be at the same time, so the waiting room is always quiet and empty :) Very calm experience!
