My dog has behavioral issues. She is scared of new people, she barks very loudly, and tries to get away. I brought her here to get some emergency staples for a gash in her side that she got at a dog park. The technician handled her behavior well, and bribed her with treats while they worked on her. By the time the technician brought her back to me, my dog was happy as a clam and willingly walking with the tech. I guess they put cheese whiz on treats and gave her frequent breaks from the stapling. Other places I've gone, people couldn't handle her (at one hospital, she managed to escape the techs and ran to the waiting room looking for me). My experience at Gunbarrel Veterinary Hospital gave me great confidence in the staff, and left me feeling reassured when I'd been worried about my injured pup. Although they're too far from where I live to go there regularly, I'd recommend them to anyone who lives closer to Gunbarrel.
My boyfriend and I have been taking our Corgi here since we got her 6 months ago. The staff is extremely caring and Dr.Feller is very knowledgeable. I feel confident in thier team and I look forward to many more years of great care!
Great doctors. My dogs get good care there
Our dogs first time at the vet, and they made sure she was all good and felt comfortable!
This is a great place to take your companions when they need help . We have been clients for over 25 years and several generations of dogs, rabbits and hamsters. The doctors are excellent and very compassionate. The staff is great as well. I highly recommend the clinic.
