Riverview has always been a great office to take our pup to for extensive and complicated needs. Our almost 7 year old lab mix has had two TPLO surgeries (preformed by Dr. Randy) here in the last year and each experience was fantastic. The friendly staff made me feel safe leaving my furry one and they are all willing to support however they can through recovery. Amazing staff and amazing work.
I cannot say enough good about the wonderful, compassionate people who work here. This was the only place who offered to help my friends cat who was in distress. The doctor worked the kitty in quickly and within an hour my friend and the doctor had a treatment plan. An hour later we were head back to our campers. Just wonderful people and excellent care!
Every professional that worked with our two dogs were amazing; from their positive approach, explanation of what was going on with our dogs, to their personable discussions, paperwork showing what they did and what is needed to be done, to the billing. I have never been to a better animal hospital - ever (and that's about 40 years of dogs!). Thank you!
Unfortunately, we had to euthanize our family dog a couple of weeks ago. Dr. Shawn, and the rest of the team at Riverview, had never seen him before as we recently moved to Durango. He knew it was time for my old guy, and the team was extremely professional during the process, and I'm confident my dog didn't suffer. Today, unexpectedly, we received a condolence card from Dr. Shawn to our family. It really means a lot to us, sometimes it's the little things. Next time I visit we will bring new life.
Very compassionate team! They are genuine and made me feel like they treated Luna as if she were their own. She was even sent home with the most adorable bandana! Definitely the most pleasant vet experience I've ever had.
