They were very kind. I had to have my 16 year old cat put down, and they were wonderful to both of us.

We were very much looking forward to our visit at Stockton Pet Hospital but unfortunately the only positive part of the experience was the front desk lady, Veronica. Don't let the nicely done website fool you. I have never left a review before but the clinic was filthy, smelled bad and was covered in hair. That combined with our overall experience, I felt it was necessary to warn anyone considering this vet.nnThere was no communication between staff and client, as the vet walked in with no introduction and started dosing our dogs without telling us what she was doing. They clearly didn't reference the charts I had faxed over prior to the appointment as our dogs didn't even get their Rabies vaccines that were due. The tech brought us an incorrect break down of the charges while we waited for a test result to finish. The bill totaled almost $300. I hadn't expected it to be that much but was even more surprised when I got to the front to pay and the lady gave me a new total of almost $500. We were VERY unimpressed with this care and will ABSOLUTELY NEVER recommend this facility for care to anyone.nnLastly, for those who have any pets with reactivity problems, the doors on the exam rooms are only half doors. I acknowledged that one of my dogs needed some special accommodations on the phone before our appointment and was quite surprised to show up and find that no accommodation or consideration had been made. It made for a very stressful experience for all involved.
