The doctors at Golden Hospital are great, informative, and caring. I have two horses that they care for and do a great job. There payment plan is a bank saver and their quick response to call outs is a stress saver I itself. I can't be more happy with this vet.

Dr. Gary is the first equine doctor in a long long time to make me feel like he is really on my side, truly cares about my horse, and is suggesting his most efficient and accurate treatment. He does not have an experimental sort of attitude toward treatment, he is very straight forward about what he thinks will work and prognosis. He is also really kind and easy to get along with.I appreciate him greatly.

I brought my horse to this vet to get him checked out before I bought him. One of my main concerns was that he had not been gelded because he originally came from auction. He was in the possession of a private owner at the time and was so skidish and unfamiliar with people that we had not had the opportunity to check ourselves, nor would I have had the experience to tell my self. I relied on the vets word when he said that he was gelded. About a year and a half later I discovered that he was in fact not gelded at all. This put me in a tight position with the barn I was at because they DO NOT under any circumstances allow studs. In the middle of trying to find a new place for my horse I went back to this office to see if they could help fix their mistake. The financial bind I was in was a big problem not only do I now have to find him a new place to live in the middle of a pandemic I now have to pay for this surgery which anyone who has had to pay for equine bills would know is not cheep. I tried to work out some way we could make this better because their mistake put me in a really tough space, not only where they unwilling to make a deal with me but they stood by their word and defend the vet saying that he might have been to young to feel. If that was the case then they should have run a blood test for testosterone to be sure. I no longer feel that this vet is trustworthy or has heart to provide the best care for my animals.

Going forward, my family’s two dogs will be going to Aspen Ridge Animal Hospital. It took a dozen phone calls and four days to get blood results for our older dog, Bear, from Golden Animal Hospital. We were then told to take Bear for an ultrasound at a specialist “because our X-ray machine is broken.” Then our younger dog, Jada, injured her foot the day after we got Bear’s test results. The Golden Animal Hospital receptionist told us no vet could accommodate seeing Jada that day (a Saturday), or the following week. The receptionist suggested finding another vet for the injury, despite us having spent $2000 in 2020 at Golden Animal Hospital. So, we did - Apen Ridge, which got Jada in right away, did extensive testing and X ray and surgery referral.nnGolden Animal Hospital staff are unmasked and defensive if you ask them to mask. The waiting area is small, unventilated, dirty and over crowded. Each vet seems to work a half time schedule and only the vet who your dog saw for a given visit will discuss your dog’s test results with you. So there is always a multi-day delay and multiple calls required before one learns what is wrong. When I told the receptionist we will no longer be using Golden Animal Hospital, we got a bonus bill in the mail for $50. We have always been charged on day of service in the past.nnIf you love your animals, don’t bring them here!

The staff is very rude Katelyn hung up on me when I asked her about the cost of a service while I was explaining to her how much I love my cat and want the best care for her. I called right back and she said what do you want . what I want is to have faith in your service if you can't be nice to clients what are you doing with your patients the animals we lobe that we bring to u?
