I have NEVER left a review before, but due to the overwhelmingly incredible service I’ve received here, I can’t help myself! The entire staff here is helpful, kind, and patient. When my dog was very sick and I was a panicked dog mom, the vet stayed late to talk to me on the phone until all of my questions were answered. The care I have received here is above and beyond.. I’m truly amazed and I feel so lucky to have found WellHaven!
I've taken my Labrador here for years and it used to be a really good vet, but things have definitely changed. It seems like every time I go I get a different vet and most seem very young and inexperienced. Today I called for the 3rd time to get a prescription for my very elderly dog (almost 14) and they won't prescribe a NSAID for her arthritis because her liver enzymes have been high in the past. They'll only do it if I bring her in for monthly blood tests. She literally probably has months to live and at this point I feel like they're just milking me for money without any regard for the comfort of my dog. What happened to having the best interest and comfort of the pet in mind???
So many vets weren’t taking new patients but I got an appointment for my new kitten quickly. Everyone was professional and friendly, and the vet answered all of my questions, even the ones I told the vet tech but forgot to ask on the phone.nnDuring Covid you call them from the parking lot and they bring all the paperwork out, take your pet inside, and call you after the examination. Then you pay over the phone after the exam and they bring your pet back to your car.nThere’s a Starbucks, and trees by the river if you need something to do while you wait.
My recently adopted cat developed a sore on her neck that warranted a vet visit. Scheduling online was simple and when I arrived for the appointment the staff were on time and friendly. They were sympathetic to my cat’s previous medical history and gave a helpful diagnosis with transparent financial options for treatment. Would recommend!
Dr. Johnson is fantastic! We've gone from vet to vet looking for someone that actually cares and acts professionally, and he is the first one to actually give us his undivided attention, patience with our questions, and offer his own personal advice. Will definitely be back!
