Such a wonderful experience. I took my Golden into the emergency care at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital for toxicity and was quickly seen by two emergency technicians. Both were amazing but the technician Billy went above and beyond explaining what was happening in a way that made me feel calm and confident about what to do next for my pup. Thank you, thank you!

Dr. Israel and the team here are amazing! They took their time to explain treatment options and provided wonderful care for our 10 yr old son's cat! We weren't able to afford long-term care at their facility and the Dr. was kind enough to recommend another facility within our budget. Highly recommend -- thank you so much Dr. Israel!!!

Absolutely one of the worst experiences ever first they got me for $2300 for a problem with my cat When I picked my cat up they said hes all better take him home 3 days later he still doing the same thing when I called to ask for help The night nurse was rude to me and said I owe 400 more dollars And that was all I could get out of her She wouldn't even help me with my cat. People should try to be nice to other people and there pet's......

Updated and stars increased from 1 to 3: we as of yesterday are beginning to make progress on the survival of my friends fur baby. It has been ENORMOUSLY EXPENSIVE but as long as something is finally HELPING we will deal with it! I HAVE TO SAY WITH SINCERITY THE SERVICES VETS SUPPLY ARE TIME CONSUMING AND DIFFICULT AND MY HAT IS OFF TO THEM and we APPRECIATE THEM. But in all fairness the ANIMAL AND OWNER are SUFFERING TOO so our hearts go out to them ud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9cud83dudc9c!!! Our vet even with COVID19 going on took us from waiting OUTSIDE after check in straight into a room AS USUAL and we were with our FUR BABY the whole time except for a trip to the back for an IV line placement. We DID NOT have to do a DROP OFF which I flat refuse to do for the comfort and wellbeing of our best friends. I would hope that this procedure would be adopted by all or most vets. You can spray the rooms after service is rendered.nnAbbreviated Original Post: I have a friend in Colorado who was referred by her Vet to this so called AMAZING PLACE!!! Tons of meds and tests only to say her dogs white cell count is UP!!! After all the torture and expense THEY DON’T KNOW WHY!!!!! I admit if we had read the reviews we would have said PASS!!! Most of the bad reviews say EXACTLY THE SAME THING!!!! High Cost and NO ANSWERS!!!!! They don’t even deserve 1/2 a star!!! I live in CALIFORNIA AND HAVE AN AMAZING VET!!!!

The level of empathy, treatment and compassion in this place is outstanding. Even though that in the end, we lost our dear fur son, Gulliver. We know he was treated as if he were one of their own. Their team worked hard through the Thanksgiving holiday, during a pandemic, giving us morning, lunch and late afternoon updates, to provide the best care possible.nnIt wasn’t their fault, it’s just that Colorado doesn’t have a dialysis machine for kitties. That would be my only feedback, I don’t know how common or successful procedures like that are, but if you could look into it later down the road, it would prevent further heartbreak for pet parents.nnRegardless, a big thank you to the Wheatridge Animal Hospital Critical Care Team.
