Dr. Howard and all the other folks at Alameda Vet Clinic have been great with our 7 year old golden since we started at the practice in June. They got to know her well really quickly, and Dr. Howard and the vet techs have been great at answering questions and making sure she's well taken care of. The practice has also done a really good job during covid, with several designated parking spaces for patients marked with signs and a phone number to call; anyone who comes outside to get our dog, or talk about treatment, always wears a mask.

Great experience. The vets are very knowledgeable and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They were there for me when my cat was sick and were able to help her. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Howard is amazing. They fit my dog in for an emergency situation with no hesitation. He was able to diagnose an ongoing issue that other vets misdiagnosed and removed a huge tumor along with my dog's spleen that saved her life. He explained all my options in a very caring manner, and they worked with me in getting everything paid. I don't plan on going anywhere else.

This was our first visit after switching clinics. Very happy we did. The last place switched ownership and doctors and the place quickly went downhill to the point we could no longer trust them with our cats.nnDuring this pandemic the only option is curbside drop off, which I was apprehensive of at first. Both our older cat (11yr) and younger cat (1yr 3mo) have never been alone for anything like this. The first vet tech came out and greeted us and we instantly knew everything would be fine. After about 30 minutes both cats were brought back out and Dr. Howard came to speak to us. Very compassionate and caring guy. You can feel that he truly cares about your individual pets and they aren't just another paycheck. He spent a good 10 minutes outside with us giving tips and advice and overall set our minds at ease after the switch.nnBonus: The prices are greatnnHighly recommend this Vet to everyone!

Alameda Veterinary Clinic is the best place to take your pets. I live in Lakewood and checked out all the vet in the area and from my personal experience this place is the best , price is very reasonable and customer service is excellent. Dr. Howard is well known for his knowledge and 45+ years of experience in Veterinary. All other doctors are very knowledgable as well . I am extremely protective of my dog PIA who is my only child and I do not trust anyone with her . But after couple of visit and after I see how the Receptionist, Vet tech and Dr. Howard Genuinely care about my dog and others pet I didn't hesitate to trust them with my dogs important Surgery. I am very happy to find this clinic and I would highly recommend this place .nHat's off to Dr. Howard and Pia's favorite vet tech Miguel . Thank you guys . You are the best .
