We adopted our precious Coconut from Planned Pethood, and we were extremely happy with our experience! Susan was kind, helpful, responsive, obviously loves animals, and she and the staff went above and beyond to make sure our Coconut got the care she needed while we were fostering her - even coming in on a Sunday when they are normally closed! Planned Pethood also provided us with all the supplies Coconut would need to feel right at home in our new home. We highly recommend adopting from Planned Pethood!

We have had nothing but positive experiences with Planned Pethood. They have cared for our pets with professionalism and kindness; they have been reliable about call backs every day; they charged exactly what they quoted us, not a dime more (which, by the way, was literally $5,000 less than we were quoted by any other vet); our pets recovered beautifully after surgery and a hospital stay there; they publish all their prices and policies online, which I can't find elsewhere. They are extremely popular and hard to get ahold of, yes. Be prepared for that. We accept that since we have been able to take our pets in twice without an appointment and be seen on the spot. What I can't quite understand is all the people reviewing who seem shocked by the spay and neuter policies. They advertise these everywhere...Everywhere. From the moment you walk in the door. It would be impossible to not know about their policies before taking your pet to be treated there. If you don't like the policy, why not go elsewhere? Seems odd to go in eyes wide open then write a ranting review about a policy you knew about ahead of time. You have a choice - make a different one if you're not happy with the policy.

I highly recommend this place! They took cat of our Dog with quality care,concern,pricing,loyalty and much much more! A lady named Jerry took us right in and made sure our dog was taken proper care of it was very critical our dog be seen right away for emergency surgery! The vet who did surgery also was very caring and talked to us about everything I know people get frustrated not being able to always get through but they are busy place with low pricing they kept me updated with anything new only a few calls but I was content with that no news is good news they said.I was content with that they also followed up with me 1 week later to check on my dog and let me know if anything changed to contact them I felt secure and satisfied with all the service they provided me! Love this place so much with out them I wouldn’t have my dog today ! Not to mention I spent to days trying to find a vet to help my dog and got the run around finally found them and I am very grateful!! Don’t listen to people’s negative comments this is the best place by far my dog was hospitalized from her surgery and it was included in the price not an every day stay which is frustrating to worry about when your worried about your pet they took care of her and made sure she was doing better before they sent her home! So thank you so much planned pet hood for all you caring services !!

They are in the process of reconstructing my dog Reese's hip and spine after a hit and run. They were the ONLY animal hospital that would help me keep my bestie alive without having the entire amount for surgery up front. Not only that but my dog always barks and growls at strangers but didn't with the nurses that came out to get her. She was relaxed and calm and strangely (for me anyways) at that moment I was too. Although I'm anxious for her to be coming home I know she is in good hands and will be coming home :)

Amazing. Affordable and awesome care. I had a wonderful experience here and my cat is only alive right now because of the great care she received here. I came here to get a second opinion on a critical health problem my cat was experiencing. I had already spent over $1k at my regular vet, but came here after a friend suggested it. I was nervous to get another opinion because I was scared to spend another thousand dollars, but since I had to bring her back to my other vet to get bloodwork done anyway ($150 +) I figured I'd just bring her here to get this done and see what they had to say about it. The bloodwork was almost less than half the price at my other vet. Beyond that, they were able to keep her hospitalized for about 10 days to give her the care she needed to have any chance of living... for HALF the price of 1 day at the other vet I had brought her too.nnAs far as communication, the vet called me every single day with an update. If I didn't answer, she left me a detailed voicemail so that I knew what was going on. She answered every question I had and made me feel at ease about the whole situation. She even let me come in over the weekend to visit my kitty for a while. Like others have said, you cannot call and get ahold of the staff easily, since they keep their costs down by keeping their staff off the phones all day. However, if you have a hospitalized pet, they give you a case number to leave on their special voicemail so that they'll call you back more quickly.nnI'd absolutely recommend Planned Pethood to anyone who needs affordable pet care in the area. Of course, you do have to wait in line, but if you plan accordingly and get there early, it's not too much of an issue.
