We were attempting to buy our grandsons’ some special ornaments for Christmas so we went to Platte Floral. There was road construction blocking their main entrance but we managed to find our way using a side street. Their main door was open and it was 4:30 On this Friday afternoon. Their staff was busy decorating for the holiday season and asked us to come back tomorrow when they had the store arranged. One lady said they were open for another hour yet she still asked us to leave . No thanks...we won’t be back.
Platte doesn’t even deserve one (1) star. I had a florist in Ohio use FTD to send a planter worth $100 to my friend in Colorado Springs. I have done this twice in previous years and she received beautiful items. This arrangement was so poorly done, my friend made them come back and pick it up. She did not take a picture of the mess before they came and took it back. She said she would be happy with a cut vase of fresh flowers. Platte refused since it was not on the FTD orders. Platte’s apparent philosophy is not to please the customer. They could have sent her an cut arrangement Of fresh flowers worth $50 and she would have been happy. When the Ohio florist called and asked them if they would make it right, they refused. My florist then called FTD to make sure the order was properly cancelled and to make sure I got my money returned. Ordering from afar through FTD is not one of Platte’s strengths.
Gene over at Platte Floral was incredibly kind and attentive when we had our meeting for my Wedding Flowers! On the day of, the flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Thank you to the whole crew who helped make our big day even more vibrant!
I ordered for same day delivery from 1800flowers. They called me 2 hours later stating they couldn’t fill my order and it was a hassle to get a refund.nnI was in a rush to find flowers and I stumbled upon Platte Floral in the Springs. I ordered from the website and I got better flowers for less cost and they were delivered in just a few hours. I highly recommend them for flower delivery!
First time using these guys and I have no complaints ud83dude01. Easy to order online and really fast. I ordered around 10:30ish and was delivered before 3pm on a same day delivery. Thanks ud83dude4f !!
