We've been taking our cats and dog here for years. I like the conservative approach to treatment before escalating into more expensive treatments without sacrificing the care of our pets. They answer questions, give thorough exams and treat our animals with the love and care we expect. The vet even remembers our dog has sensitive ears and is extra gentle during exams.nnI always feel informed of all my options from conservative to aggressive. I've never been surprised by the bill (estimates are pretty accurate). Their hours are convenient and their staff friendly and professional. Highly recommend.
We recently switched to Laurel for my pets care because they were much closer to where I live. My 16 year old cat had stopped eating and was losing a lot of weight. We brought him in and it was determined he was suffering from kidney failure. The vet explained the options, their costs and the length of time we could potentially extend his life based on each option. We got him on fluids and they showed us how to administer the fluids at home.nWe eventually had to make that tough decision to put our loved one to sleep. I called in the morning and explained the situation. They had a full schedule but they said they would work us in that day so that our pet wouldn't have to be in pain. We were allowed to be present for the procedure so we could be there to comfort him and say our goodbyes. The staff was amazing and allowed us as much time as we needed, even though they were busy. Having euthanized a few pets in the past, it always seemed cold and business oriented. That wasn't the case with Laurel and they went above our expectations and provided us with clay paw prints and a little vial of his hair to remember him by, which was a nice touch. Putting a pet down is by far the hardest part of owning a pet and I appreciate the compassion and kindness the staff at Laurel Veterinary Clinic showed us through this difficult time.
We were extremely happy with all of the care we've had for a few dogs Max & Roxie as we lived in Colorado for the last 15 years... Especially for an emergency visit after one of our labradors Roxie got into some raisins. The extreme quickness and care of the entire staff was amazing. They also paid special attention to Roxie's fear of going in and out the door and always carried her in for us.... I highly recommend this veterinarian clinic for all your needs.

Absolutely the best vet EVER!!! Have been coming here for 4 years and can’t imagine going anywhere else . Dr. Gablehouse is top notch amazing! She helped me through the end of life of my cat , has been for every appt with my new kitten and will always ask for her for my dog going forward! If you need a switch , new to the area or just looking for the best care ... you’ve found it !
