We have been patrons of this amazing clinic for over 20 years now. They have always given us their very best service, and while we did have 2 minor issues, they were always willing to listen to our concerns. We absolutely LOVE Dr. Bean, especially since he has been so very kind when he helped us say goodbye to 2 different beloved dogs. Dr. Bean explains things clearly and will always be honest, even when the news is not so good. Dr. Bean treats us AND OUR ANIMALS like family.nnWe also love our experiences with Dr. LaCroix, she is amazing. She took such good care of one of our cats when she snuck outside for the first time. While there was nothing life-threatening, she scooped up our cat and lived on her and took great care of her.nnThe groomers, WOW! They are such kind and caring and sweet people to our dogs every time they go in for their “Spa Day” and they look simply FABULOUS!!!nnWhile most of the folks at the front desk have been there for a long time and warmly greet us every time we are in, even the new people are genuine and kind.nnTHANK YOU ROCKY MOUNTAIN SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITAL for all of the amazing care for over 20 years now for our furry family. We certainly are grateful.

This clinic took good care of my two cats who were in to get both fixed and declawed. I'm giving four stars because I found it very frustrating that I called multiple times to inquire about the cost of the procedures. I was told on more then one occasion I would be looking at a bill of about $860.... $800 for both cats procedures then another $30-60 for medications. When I picked my cats up I owed them $931! There were more charges they tried to add on that I was able to get them to remove...they wanted to charge $100 per cat for vaccinations... When I made the appointment no one told me to bring proof of vaccinations or we would be charged... Luckily I had the smarts enough to bring that stuff with me.... They also wanted to charge an additional $40 for e-collars which was never mentioned to me, I assumed that was part of the procedure and costs I was quoted. For the declaw they put stitches in my larger cats paws and glued the smaller cats paws. Because of this the cat with the glued paws busted open her foot and we had to return for another $130 in charges. If I would have paid for e-collars and vaccinations we would have been looking at a total of around $1300!!! With the removed charges and extra visit we spent about $1060! Because payment is due at pick up this put our family in a financially rough spot for the rest of the week as we were flat out broke from the unexpected extra charges. This is a good clinic and I will come back if the need ever arrises but I do think it is critically important your staff is telling people the correct charges when they call to get a quote so they are prepared and not left scrambling and stressing to cover the bill.

Another fantastic visit for our new puppy! Dr. Hansen is so wonderful, and even though we were one of the last appointments of the day, he did not rush us at all. I don't have enough good things to say about this facility. We have been clients for four years now!

Facility is clean, Staff is friendly, Doctor is caring and knowledgeable... highly recommend this place. Been coming here for over 25 yrs and trust them completely.

We have boarded our pets here for years because our previous vet needed to be booked months out and we started taking a lot more last minute trips. Finally had our first appointment here. It was a wonderful experience. They did an incredible job explaining their new procedures during COVID and even had someone outside to greet us and check us in. Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech to the staff checking us out were kind, polite and caring. Dr. Hanson was incredible. Our previous vet had a revolving door for vets, so we have seen several over the years. Dr. Hanson is one of the best I've seen. He is kind and caring and was happy to take the time needed to explain our options. I know my pets are in good hands. Thank you!!
