Hawk Flowers and Gifts

Walked in here today, while my husband was next door shopping at Tony's meat market, the wonderful smell of flowers lured us in. I had my 14 month old with me and days are always long as a stay at home mom. As we browsed around we were greeted by Gabrielle with whom we chatted with and had a wonderful meeting. She was so kind and uplifting and encouraging as a woman, mother and grandmother. She truly made our day, we can't wait to come back and shop her store when we have a need.

Beautiful arrangements ~ I ordered some flowers and they came right on time best by far delivery services yet. I wish I took a picture to saver the beauty... I'm ordering more !!!! #AMAZING

This florist provides terrible product and service.nnMy family ordered flowers for my husband and I because we lost a family member Tuesday. Flowers were to be delivered Wednesday but arrived about 6ish in the evening Thursday after multiple calls from my mom to find out what was going on. And the store is only 15 minutes from my home.nnThe flowers that arrived were not the same quality as pictured. The image online was significantly more professional and nicer looking.nnI woke up early this morning to find numerous drooping and browned flowers. I am an avid gardener and know my flowers. Many of them were past their prime and already wilting. This was the second arrangement my family had ordered for me from this florist, and the first (in December 2019) had a similar issue and most of the flowers didn't make it through the weekend. I didn't complain to them or the store at the time, but this time I called.nnThe person who answered did not once at any moment apologize or seem to care about the quality of the flowers. In fact, she wanted pictures to prove the issue and was very defensive. Instead of offering a refund and letting me salvage what could be, she had me leave the arrangement on the front porch for pickup. Why??? Is she going to give those flowers to another customer????? And somehow, after delivering my flowers very late, she was able to get here in less than 25 minutes to pick them up. We'll see if we get a refund, doesn't look hopeful from the other reviews I just read.nnIt is abundantly clear from the other reviews that I am not the only person who has had a similar experience with this florist. Do yourself a favor. Save the headache. Spend your money with a florist who treats their customers right.nnP.S. to Reply - Photos are the proof. Gerber on the edge of browning, wilting iris, all but 1 hydrangea wilted fully. Browned edges on filler plants. And others' reviews make clear this is not an issue particular to me - on delivery, quality, or service. Better than making excuses is treating your customers right and rectifying a situation. Or at least saying - Sorry we really messed up what was supposed to be a comfort to you in your time of grief.

On Saturday I ran into Hawk Flowers and Gifts just to see the types of gifts available, and I had such a pleasant experience with all three of the people who were working there that day. It was very groovy - and I enjoyed myself immensely. One gift and card is already on it's way to Oregon to one of my dearest friends - and I know she'll enjoy immensely. Thank you!

Unfortunately, I wish I could give 0 stars. My flowers were supposed to a surprise from my husband because he is deployed overseas. They called me the day they were supposed to be delivered and asked if they could deliver the next day, which ruined the surprise. They said their wholesaler didn’t provide the flowers needed for the bouquet. When the flowers arrived they were pathetic. The quality is extremely low and the flowers are all wilted. I would not recommend this place whatsoever.
