From two knee replacements on our pup to gentle reminders in my inbox when a vaccination is needed, I really appreciate this veterinary practice! Though busy, they are welcoming to both humans and animals and are pretty accommodating when there is an urgent care need for upset tummies, hurt paws, porcupine quills... you get the picture. I am glad I found this practice!

We absolutely love Hampden and recommend them to all of our friends! We recently moved out to CO and consider ourselves so lucky to have found this place. Dr. Nelson and her whole team are incredible. Total dog lovers who go above and beyond to make sure our fur babies healthy and happy. Their prices are very fair and I have never experienced that “feeling” you can get at some vets where you feel taken advantage of. They always explain all their prices, share quotes up front, and make sure you are comfortable before proceeding.nnWhether you are a new pet owner, just moved to town, or not completely thrilled with your vet experience, I strongly encourage you to check out Hampden.nnThank you guys for being so great!

My 10 year old toy poodle started limping a few months ago because of arthritis. She was miserable and no amount of pain meds, exercises, CBD oil or glucosamine were helping her. I decided to try acupuncture for her since nothing else had worked. I found Dr. Christina Suhr and after 3 sessions I am absolutely shook. First of all, Dr. Suhr got down on the floor with my dog and gave her all of the belly rubs and kisses to make her feel comfortable (I’ve never had a vet do that)! Usually my dog shakes the entire time we are at any vet clinic. But after a few minutes with Dr. Suhr she stopped shaking. My dog looooooves Dr. Suhr’s energy. I noticed a huge difference in her pain after just one session. My dog isn’t limping anymore and on top of that she is running and playing with her sister. Everyone who saw her before and after has commented on how great she looks and how much happier she seems. I am incredibly grateful we found Dr. Suhr. We’ve only had 3 sessions and I’ve been able to stop most of her pain medication. I cannot recommend Dr. Suhr enough!
