We have been so happy with this Banfield location! The people who work here are so kind and I really feel like they care about our pups. They have been honest and transparent about pricing, especially after we mentioned previous issues with another location. They have been so good with our older three-legged pup and I feel confident when I drop my dogs off that they will be in good hands. We also deeply appreciate the precautions they have been taking for COVID!

I had my dog in one of their Wellness plans for some time. My husband and I decided to cancel in April but decided to renew in October, because one of our dogs needed vaccinations. When I brought her, I asked if she could be in the basic plan (that doesn’t include the dental cleaning) since she is healthy and she didn’t need any teeth extractions the years she had the premium. 7 hours after I dropped my dog, Dr calls me to tell me my dog needs 2 teeth exacted (I saw the teeth which it was true) and she recommended me to go to some specialist in Castile Rock to do it because it was a long procedure and my dog’s age. I don’t understand why I have been trusting this place with my dog, and then she sends me to someone else? Outside of Banfield? When I picked my dog I decided to enroll for the premium plan and not the basic (that includes dental cleaning) and the doctor told the front office staff that she didn’t recommend that plan (when that’s the one recommended for older dogs) If she is not capable of doing this procedure, she should ask another veterinarian in Banfield to do it. The fact that this company can’t deliver in the services they offer, it’s really disappointing. Why offer the wellness plans to encourage customers to go somewhere else?nI encourage people to find another vet services. If you have a dog that just needs vaccinations and regular routines, then it might be fine. But when your dog really has an issue, they won’t solve it.nBy the way, please train your office staff to be more courteous and welcoming. It speaks volumes of your business. I will love for customer service to contact me.

I am highly disappointed at the staff here at this Banfield location. I have been going to this location for over a year now and it seems like my dogs health has deteriorated since taking him here. He use to be a healthy 6 year old lab. Now he has reoccurring ear infections that seem to be getting worse each time I take him in for a follow up. I pay anywhere from $200-400 a month for his ear infection and I get no progress. That’s a lot of money to spend and it seems like they don’t care about my dog or the financial situation going on in this world at the moment. Receptionists use to be friendly until I decided to bring up the matter that they are not doing anything to help my dog get better, he’s getting worse and their draining my pockets and make me overpay. They are very unprofessional and very rude whenever you try and ask for a detailed price of what there charging you for. Or if you try to deny their treatment plan because it is unreasonably a high amount to pay. Your not a valued pet owner or customer there. I suggest to stay far away from this location. It will save you a few headaches and save your pockets. I will not be renewing my wellness plan anymore.

I brought my puppy in for a drop off appointment... SIX (yes, six) HOURS later they mis-diagnosed my baby with a simple cough “like a human cold” is what they told me. Two days later my puppy’s cough was way worse, he had discharge from his nose and had low energy. I ended up taking him to another Banfield (which was outstanding), where he was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and cough, to which he was prescribed antibiotics and a cough suppressant. If you want your pet to be diagnosed CORRECTLY and cared for properly, please do not go here.

This is a quintessential example of a big box, chain retail operation. They're not horrible, they most likely won't kill your pet, and the employees are just regular people doing their best like we all are. They're like the Verizon of vets. If you have an emergency, and they're open, they're technically qualified to perform veterinary services. But if you want customized care for your animal and exceptional customer service from people who are passionate about what they do, this is not your shop. Look for a local, well-reviewed non-chain vet in your area, and you're likely to receive the care your pet deserves and the communication and service you deserve as the caregiver.nnBanfield's wellness plan is expensive and incentivizes treatments that, after getting several other vet's opinions, our dog didn't need (and actually could have harmed him). If your pet is healthy and young, they might not need a plan; it's not a car, it's an animal.nnTry to find another vet in your area first, but in a pinch, they're a vet.
