Belcaro Animal Hospital has been fantastic !!! Dr. Michael Herman and Paul Bechtold have been the two veterinarian doctors handling our pets for well over 8+ years. Whether it's an office visit or via email , these vet doctor's indescribably been the greatest when it comes to follow -up. Both have such a loving and caring demeanor that my pets seem to feel right at ease (which is strange, due to my little teacup has high anxiety issues). I would highly recommend this animal hospital if you wanting to be assured of loving, nurturing, and thoroughness of care when it comes to your 'precious' pet.
Can’t express how thankful we are for Dr. Herman! During a windstorm today, our back gate was blown open and our dog, Tyson, escaped for at least 15 minutes before we new he was gone. After frantically searching the neighborhood for a good 30 minutes I received a found pet alert for Tyson. Turns out that Dr. Herman had seen him loose in the neighborhood and took him to the clinic to scan his microchip (thank goodness for those!) and then posted to an online notification system to let me know he’d been found. He then met us at the clinic after hours to reunite Tyson with us! Truly a heart of gold and beyond the call of duty. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
ABSOLUTELY best vet around! I love this place, everyone is so caring and compassionate. They provide wonderful care that is affordable. Dr Hardy is amazing and cares as if it were his own pet. He is so compassionate, goes the extra mile in follow up care and explaining options. So fortunate to have them with two senior dogs!!!!
This is a great place to take your furry family members. My dog has seen Dr. Hardy ever since she was adopted. He returns calls, monitors her medication and epilepsy. The vet techs and front desk staff are friendly and helpful. They also take Care Credit.
Formerly 5 star review. Mr. Chilly and I loved Dr. Otero and Dr. Herman, they have been helpful, friendly, and seem to really care about the little dude! Unfortunately, other than one bright, young eager employee at the front desk, the remainder of the front desk staff is horrible - UGH! Went in for a non-urgent matter today and heard them being very short with someone on the phone inquiring about her deceased pet's remains, then rolling their eyes while discussing how the same woman had just called yesterday with the same question. Zero empathy. Left in disgust (also they couldn't tell me if the wait would be 30 more minutes or 2 hours) and will not be returning.
