I wouldn’t go anywhere in Washington for my animals to be seen. The K9 Country Club staff are absolutely amazing!! They make you feel as if you were part of their family and you feel like a VIP with every interaction with staff.nnA couple people that really stand out are Dr. Roberts. She is one of the most amazing Veterinary doctors I’ve come across. Her professionalism puts her at the top of her profession. She puts your family first and will go the extra mile for your pet.nnJessie is another staff member who deserves a ton of recognition. She, just like Dr. Roberts, puts her heart and soul into her job. You can tell she is passionate about her job and loves why she does. She makes you feel like you are her sole focus and no one else is around. Our family appreciates the everything she has done for us.nnWe would not go anywhere else. K9 Country Club is the best in the business and we are grateful and honored for them to be part of our family.
My dad is 81 and wanted to get a new dog when his passed. We found him an English Lab that was mellow but young. Once we got him home it was obvious to us that he had not been socialized or out of his familiar surroundings much. I contacted Nick at K9 Country Club and he arranged for us to bring him in for board and train as well as neutering while he was there. He got to know dad and Max was trained to best suit his needs. Long story short, Nick and Bree were great! Max has been everything we were hoping for since he has been home. He walks on a loose leash, sits and stays when he is told to and is not bothered by other dogs or people coming up to him. He is very gentle with dad and is overall a sound dog. I can't recommend Nick and his crew enough. Having a well trained dog from the very beginning of dog ownership is something I will do from here on out!nnK9 Country Club is a 1 stop shop for all of your dog's needs- from good quality pet food and treats to boarding, training, grooming, vet care and doggy daycare- they are a one stop shop and know their stuff.
We just got our puppy (Lucy) home after a 3-week ‘board and train’ session and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Seriously, we’re over the moon. I don’t know what I’m earth they did, but she’s like a completely different dog. She’s still the same happy and joyous puppy she’s always been, but she’s transformed into a completely obedient dog. I don’t know how they did it.nnBefore taking her into the board and train, we’d tried reading all the books, taking online courses, and working with her every day. Alas, her behavior kept getting worse instead of better. She would bolt out the door if you left it open an inch, run away from us when we tried to get her, pull and chew on the leash, and generally ignore any commands or attempts at training. When we first met with the owner, Nick, he recommended the board and train program due to her extreme stubbornness. We thought that program might be more than what she needed, and were also worried that the relatively high cost might not be worth it. We couldn’t have been more wrong about either of these concerns.nnAs it turns out, you can actually buy a perfect behavior package for your dog. Lucy now ‘heels’ PERFECTLY. No matter what speed we walk, or how much we vary our speed, she stays exactly 6 inches behind us. She always keeps the leash loose and never pulls on it. She’ll also stay in the yard exactly where we ask her to, even with the neighborhood kids playing and shrieking 20 feet away (a scene Superman himself couldn’t have stopped her from joining 3 weeks ago.). We can ‘place’ her in her bed, go outside, leave the door open, make it sound like we’re having a ton of fun out there and she won’t budge an INCH. Most importantly, she watches us constantly for her next cue until she’s ‘released’ with the ‘free’ command to do as she pleases . The training has also vastly improved her quality of life. She can hang out with us in the front yard now because we know she won’t run off. She can go visit with kids because we know she won’t jump. She gets way more walks now because, frankly, it’s a pleasure to take her on a walk. I can’t recommend the board and train program enough. It’s definitely an investment from a financial perspective, but we feel like we got every penny’s worth and more out of it.
I cannot say enough good things about K9 country club! Finding a vet and daycare I love and trust is SO important to me, my babies are absolutely loved and spoiled here. Dr. Roberts is a one of a kind Vet. She is so devoted to her practice and her knowledge and passion for animals is truly outstanding. I HIGHLY recommend K9 for all services! My babies are treated like royalty by ALL staff members!
My Wheaten Terrier - Jamison has just completed his requirements for a SERVICE DOG at K9 Country Club Spokane, WA. Jameson together with his trainers Nick Lungu-Owner, Cody Lungu and Bre have put in over 90 hours with this top trainer team. After several weeks, Jameson was returned to me as a well mannered, smart, AWARE Service Dog. He is trained to stay close and Watch situations with me. I couldn’t be more proud of him and happy for me. He has been trained in private family settings, grocery stores, public places, with children, other dogs, live stock, airplanes, airports, customs, cars, etc. etc. etc.ufffcufffc. I remember when he started training how sad I felt with him gone from my side - it felt like forever. Nick said a Wheatin has to much of a fun characteristic family dog to be serious Service Dog & probably wouldn’t make the cut.... Jameson proved him wrong. Nick was surprised & very happy with how he didufffc. . My biggest concern was that the Service Training would take the Wheaten Greeting Horseplay personality out of him. It was just the opposite. When he's working no dog, or person or loud car can sway his attention from me BUT take the vest off, he a fluffy goofball who loves to play and he make me laugh - he’s got quite a exciting personality. I will continue to do training classes and check in's with Nick down the road to help me stay on track working with Jameson. Nice work JayMoe !!nnA very Special thanks to Nick Lungu, Owner, Bre & Cody, Vet-Dr. Roberts and her team for checking in on him while there, The Front staff who during breaks and lunches went back to snuggle him when allowed (He loves the attention). Bre-Thank you so much for my Friday Calls giving me the weekly update and training reviews on Jameson. To the Media Team.... I LOVE the pictures, videos, not just of Jameson but of all the dogs, Keep this going for others to enjoynnA secondary note is from the time I arrived at K9CC for my first evaluation everyone was very professional and friendly. While on my first tour and every visit after, I always noted how clean the facility was and how happy the dogs are.
