I called this Veterinarian at 4:00 due to an emergency. I am visiting from out of town and I took my 10 month puppy for a walk. I took her off the leash and she ran towards a pond and took a couple of sips of the pond water! Within an hour she was deathly ill! I called Sierra Veterinarian and they said they couldn’t help and to take her to Modesto or Turloc! I called Modesto Emergency Veterinarian and they said it would be a 3 hour wait and plus the 1 hour drive! My dog would be dead in that amount of time. I called back and begged for them to help me. They still said no. I called four other veterinarians and they couldn’t help me either. Everyone said to call Sierra Veterinary because they are on call tonight for emergency. Yet they wouldn’t help me with a dog that was dying in my arms! I called four veterinarians and now one wanted to help. I think the veterinarians in this town lost sight of why they went into this occupation. You chose to help animals in need and you chose not to help! I found one veterinarian that helped me and he and his daughter we’re able to save my puppy! Animal Medical Clinic! Thank you Dr. Robert Pollard and Rachel!

Dr. Lewis and the team at Sierra Veterinary Care are awesome and do an outstanding job, especially when it comes to compassion and empathy. I recently took one of my cats in for a wound on her neck. Unfortunately, the prognosis was not good and she had to be euthanized. Dr. Lewis was thorough, kept me informed of the situation and when the decision had to make, she informed me of all my options and not once did I feel rushed into making the choice to end her suffering. The clinic even sent me a sympathy card signed by all of the staff. I won't take my pets anywhere else!

Sierra veterinary helped me get through putting my dog Dakota to sleep very courteous and respectful of my feelings of letting him go. When I received his ashes back I was greatly touched with how they put him in the cherry wood box with the engraved plate with his name. Thank you.

Got the cat in quickly. Was worked in as he was a TNR. Has done well since. I think vets charge too much for spay and neuter. But he was well taken care of.
