Davies Animal Medical Hospital

Our GSD, Ziva had surgery on the August 18th, and I cannot say enough about how positive the whole experience was. Davies Animal Medical Hospital has been taking care of our animals for over 25 years, and they have provided excellent care with every visit. We began with Dr. Davies and next with Dr. Berg who has treated Ziva with exemplary care for 8 and 1/2 years. Special thanks to surgeon Dr. Kelli Mayhew for the exceptional surgery on Ziva. Dr. Housley treated our 14 year-old cat, Mama Kitty, with excellent care as well. I highly, and confidently, recommend DAMH! The staff is caring and gracious, and when I leave my fur-babies there, I am able to walk away without worries. Thank you all, Doctors, techs and front office staff, for your service and commitment to not only the care and wellbeing of your furry patients, but to their “fur-parents” as well. My baby girl Maddie had gotten hurt while trying to cool down in the yard. It was 106 and we had lost PG&E along with thousands of others. My bigger dog Dakota got excited and stepped on Maddie and hurt her a bit. Davies was so quick, helpful, and affordable. They are a great emergency clinic.

My babygirl just got spayed today and Davies did a phenomenal job! The staff was ready to greet me this morning and were super friendly and smiling. The pick up cracked me up as Lexie didn’t want to walk out of the vet, she had them carry her and the tech that brought her out was so sweet. Janna called me and let me know Lexie did amazing and answered all my questions. I felt a warm welcoming feel from the entire staff. As a first time dog mom I had no idea what to expect but Davies is amazing and I’m happy to say they’re officially our permanent vet! Thanks so much for your hard work and dedication!

My husband and I have brought our cat here multiple times and multiple times we have been disappointed with their service. As we’ve seen our cats health decrease we decided to take our little one to this vet. And multiple times the vet would simply say there doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with her. She lost almost 50% of her body weight and we finally got another vet there to look at her and found out about her thyroid. We scheduled appointments for blood work, but we get no phone call back about the results. We even called the vet and they said “ oh yea they came in last night the vet will call you”... never did. We also had an ultra sound scheduled for 830 in the morning which was only apparently supposed to take 30 min but ended up there over 4 hours and didn’t even have to ultra sound done. Why schedule appointments if the patient isn’t even going to be seen at that time? I’m pretty sure cats and dogs hate being at the vet so why cause them so much stress by having them there for hours and not even attend to them! When I went to pick her up I had to ask for her blood work to be printed out from the previous visit since no one called to tell us her results. Come to find out her results shown she had abnormal amount of leukocytes from months ago when we first brought her in and they said she was fine! We keep getting blown off from this vet and its literally killing our cat. We need to find another vet.

We first learned of Davies after adopting our kitty from the animal shelter. We loved them then (1.5 years ago)nWe now bring our puppy there and they are great. Dr. Perez is awesome, her staff is super friendly and take the time to explain everything to you.nHighly recommend going here and seeing Dr Perez.
