I had an amazing experience working with Alice!!nnBefore I even got married I knew I was going to want to keep my flowers forever. Drying them until they turned brown or taking the bouquet apart and keeping petals was not an option. Freeze drying was the only thing I wanted to do. The day after my wedding, I immediately googled and did a ton of research to find the best option for me. There was no one in my area who offered this service (I live in Dallas), so after checking out Alice’s website and corresponding with her via email and phone a little, I decided to make my deposit and send my flowers off to her a few days after my wedding.nnI worked with Alice via email to pay off my balance and she was able to cut me some deals here and there with my cost. I didn’t have to downsize my bouquet at all and I got to keep it exactly as it was on my wedding day. Alice was very nice, helpful, and kept me updated any time I asked for an update. As soon as my balance was paid off she got to work on my flowers. She was able to finish them rather quickly as well. She sent me pictures of them immediately after they were done.nnI am happy to say my flowers look exactly as they did the day I got married. I am very satisfied with how they turned out. I didn’t order a case as I am going to put them in my curio cabinet but Alice was able to ship them back to me with care and they arrived safe and sound. She did an amazing job on them and they will now be able to be loved and treasured for many years to come just as I wanted.nnThank you Alice for doing such a wonderful job!!
Frosted Floral Memories provided a stunning preserved and framed portion of my wedding bouquet. I had a large cascading bouquet which would have been very expensive to preserve the entire thing; Alice was very patient and flexible about downsizing my bouquet but also made sure the portion we kept maintained the essence of the original.nnThe process as a whole does take some time but as long as you are patient, Alice can create a one of a kind masterpiece. She is a true artist and wants to make sure the final product is as close to the real thing as possible. It is best to talk to Alice directly on the phone rather than email but once you connect with her, she is fun to work with and is dedicated to create a one of a kind piece of art.nnAlice also worked with me to stay within my budget. She worked tirelessly to ensure the colors of my bouquet were correct; after I received my bouquet she made it very clear that if I felt the colors were off, she could and would correct them. My preserved bouquet is absolutely beautiful and I love to look at it in my home every day and be reminded of my wedding day.
The good: Alice is very lovely to work with. She was timely with her emails and communicated well with me throughout the process.nThe bad: after dropping my flowers off in October, Alice seemed put off and frustrated when I asked her to have them done by April 1st as my husband and I were moving to Connecticut (I was a local customer for Alice). She pressured me and blamed me for not being honest with her but I was told the process would take three months and figured I would have plenty of time. In December, I followed up and she seemed rushed and concerned about my deadline. She acted like she did me a favor by having them done in March.nThe Ugly: the flowers! My cost was $910 and for that amount of money I thought at least my flowers would be right colors and they were not! My wedding colors were blush and burgundy and my flowers came out purple and hot pink. She insisted that they were right even when I sent her several pictures to the contrary. She even denied that the picture she sent me wasn’t really how her bouquet looked! What?!? I am extremely disappointed and it’s almost painful to look at my shadow box now because the flowers just aren’t mine. The memory of them is no longer happy.nAlso, the shadow box was going to cost an additional $1100!!!! Buyer beware! I had a friend make mine and it cost less than $100. Alice says the cost is because of the price of shipping.
