This was my first visit to the Animal Care Center and it was a wonderful experience. The whole staff was great to deal with from the receptionist (who was new and doing a great job) to the Tech, to the vet. I loved Dr Cummings- she was kind and she explained things well. I will definitely return to this clinic.
It’s an great clinic. Professional and the staff were kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a quick check up for their pet. However, on the day I went they seemed overstaffed (probably due to covid19) and I wasn’t able to speak very long to the vet about all the concerns about my dog’s problem. The vet was knowledgable and really kind though so points for that!nnI give four stars cause of the cost. I paid $65 to have the vet essentially check my dog’s lungs, watch a 30 sec video of him coughing, diagnose him in ten seconds and then give me pills for him. For a student that price was steep!nnAlso, the vet was standing two feet from my car window and that made me nervous as it didn’t feel safe for covid19 safety measures.nnMy last small critique is that they need to sign-post the place better! Google maps took me round in circles and I was a little late to my appointment!nnIn conclusion, I’ll probably go again if I need to get a last minute appointment. I really hope they change the rates for low income people such as myself in the near future. Hope this doesn’t sound too nit-picky. Dr Casper, Destiny and April. Just awesome Labor Day weekend trying to get our dog in to find out what was wrong with his eye. They got us in super friendly and the bill was not that bad I have to recommend them !
I have taken all my pitbulls to them for their ear croppings and they are always very attentive and loving of my dogs. I picked up one of my pups from a breeder and they had hacked her ears off and sewed them with fishing line. When I took one of my other dogs for his ear cropping the vet saw the younger pups ears and took her back as well to redo the stitchings and clean the wounds so they wouldn't scar. He didn't charge me extra, he just truly cared for the health and we'll being of my pup. For that reason this will be my go to place for any type of surgical procedures for my dogs.
The service here was very good. All employees were there to help. The doctor was very knowledgeable, and their testing ability for my dogs eye was advanced. They were kind and explained everything so that I understood what was happening and what I was to do for my dogs care.
