I also strongly recommend Affordable Burial & Cremation Service in Long Beach, CA. Dolores, Yvette and the rest of the staff were amazing during this difficult process. They were prompt and professional with handling the transfer of the body from the hospital to the mortuary, to processing paperwork, follow up calls and expediting the VA DD-214 that I needed in order to bury my dad in a military cemetery! Dolores even contacted the hospital physician to get things moving along, and finally shipped my beloved father's remains to me in Columbia, MD. I even had an urn shipped to them to use and they were very accommodating. The long distance, COVID-19 Pandemic and timing did not deter this team. I am forever grateful to Delores and her team of professional and gracious staff. I would recommend this business to anyone. A+

I strongly recommend this facility. Dolores and her team of professionals provided us a wonderful over all experience. Yvette Contee Officiated and directed my Uncle's service. She honored us with a dignified and heartfelt presence. Yvette went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and at ease. She paid close attention to details and helped tell my uncle's story through the individuals that played apart of his life. The Chapel is an intimate and pleasant space to honor your loved one. I'm especially grateful for them allowing us the time and space to freely coordinate and execute the Celebration. The courtesy and compassion extended to my Mother and I will never be forgotten.
