My Fathwr bad prepaid for his cremation. The staff are very compassionate and listen attentively.

I lost my mother in May 2018, Mr. Smith helped us in a very professional manner to my family in Fresno and to us from the state of New Mexico. He was friendly, attentive to what we decided to do and very professional. Thank you Mr. Smith and staff for being there for us in our loss. God bless you. Worst experience my mom and I have ever had with a business during a very difficult time in our lives. Called to have them retrieve my dad’s body from the house after he passed and were told they might not be able to make it because they were short handed. Not our problem. My father, my mom’s husband of 45 years, had just passed (not even an hour before) and he was complaining to us about his business issues and about how long it was going to take him to get to Coalinga from Fresno. Again, not our problem. So during the next couple of weeks (yes, weeks), we filled out the forms and waited to hear back from them. The forms were ancient and some of them were hardly legible. The communication from their office is spotty at best. We received a call from their office 5 weeks after my dad passed, asking if we had any questions, to which we told them we still hadn’t heard from them regarding the date for my dad’s burial. She told us WE would have to call them back when the person arranging it was available (how were we supposed to know his availability?). I asked that she have him call us back when he was available.nnTwo weeks later, still no word from them. My mom called back, we were again told about how busy they were (again, not our problem) and still no date for the burial.nnI called a week later and was told they were very busy and had had someone commit suicide on their doorstep. Again, (and I’m not trying to be insensitive, here, but) not our problem. We just want to get my dad’s ashes and have a proper burial for him. Almost two months after he passed did we finally get the ashes and have him buried.nnBottom line, I’d never recommend them to anyone. To be burdened with being told how busy and short staffed they were, and to have such horrible communication during a very delicate time in ones life, this compounded the pain of losing our loved one with frustration. While everyone else I’ve talked to has had great experiences with other cremation services, we were floored at the lack of consideration for our grief.

Steve was really helpful with me and my family after losing our mom Geri. He even went above and beyond to help me get the money from my 401k company. He was very cooperative and willing to help.
