I like Sloats Garden in Concord. I found a rabbit foot fern, that was $7.99 for a small one . I ended up buying 3 of them. I usually like looking for succulent ideas and I like some of the flowers they have. Good store to find pots plants, trees , greenery,, bushes ferns succulents,and seasonal plants, along with indoor plants, pots of all sizes and shapes, plant stands, etc. The people here are very helpful. They also carry a variety of air plants too. I know there are a number of Sloat gardens in different areas Of Contra Costa County Californa.

I wish I had known about Sloat much sooner! Their selection of houseplants is outstanding! And when I was looking for a particular one, they ordered it for me, then called me once it was delivered. How’s THAT for customer service!!! I wish more garden centers were like them.

Susie, the Assistant Manager, is wonderful. She answered all my questions, and made sure I didn't even consider a plant which was wrong for the space I had in mind. She carried the bush I chose to my car and lined the floor with plastic prior to placing the bush in my car.nnSloat has a system where the employees can communicate with each other so if a customer is in need of help there is always a way to get someone to them. I was impressed with how efficient, yet friendly the atmosphere is. I would recommend anyone looking for anything for their garden to give Sloat Garden Center a try.nnI purchased a Loropetallum Purple Diamond, picture attached.
