My wife Patricia passed away and I used them to pick her up from the nursing home and staying there and To deliver her to the grave site because of the good review and their price guarantee. To my shock that they wanted me to pay $4500 while Mt View Cemetery only charge $2400 for the same service, after we questioned, they only agreed to reduce by $780 , they are preying on the grieving family, I paid them but do not appreciate the way they conduct their business! I talked to the general manager, he said he’ll look into it, but never heard from him again!

I've been visiting the site for many, many years. Was so happy to find that it is still open during the pandemic. I always feel so much peace and calm walking thru these rooms and hallways.

Chapel of chimes has been very insensitive about my family needs during our time of grief.....they called us 30 mins prior on Sunday to having a service on Monday to tell my family that the casket we ordered a week prior is not available. To tell her son that is burying his mother is so insensitive. He is so stressed put and he was already grieving and now this has put so much on him. Shame on you Chapel of Chimes. The person Kenny Johnson seemed so insensitive. Do not deal with them and if you do do not deal with Kenny Johnson.

This building is a hidden gem of the East Bay. It is a labyrinth of private nooks perfect for contemplation and remembrance. They welcome visitors both to admire the architecture, designed in part by Julia Morgan, as well as to memorialize their loved ones. Additionally, they host musical performances in conjunction with local arts groups that both feed the local culture and, I think, celebrate the residents.

My father recently passed from a heart attack, and because we have had past arrangements held here, we felt comfortable going with them. This complaint is not about the funeral directors or people who helped set up arrangements with us. Nicolette, and a lady named Mele, we very compassionate and professional. The best hospitality came from these two ladies. Everything we needed help or information for they were there to assist with urgency. However the supervisor, I don’t have his name but he’s a big tall guy is very rude. My family arrived to support my sister and I in mourning. Granted there were more people that showed up than what we expected but we were not thinking all of us can go inside given the current state of covid in California. While my family was out side the doors the manager came and was very rude to my family. Sir, you are in a business where people are mourning the death of loved ones, you could and should know who to handle things a lot better. This was very disappointing and as I walked out from seeing my father he looked at me with disgust. No hello, no greeting nothing. He yelled at my mother and told her she could not sit in the front of the chapel alone, keeping social distancing. I will inform the Tongan community of how we were treated by the head supervisor. Totally unprofessional and no regard for the situation which we’re currently dealing with. If you are brown, he will not be friendly.
