I use Bart occasionally. I’d say it’s a love hate relationship. This is a standard station with limited parking. Ford bikes station. A big room for locking up bikes. Remember this is in Berkeley, they love giving parking tickets! Stay aware of your surroundings while in/around Bart ud83dude33

Bart is useless. But everyone knows that already. No organizations whatsoever. Trains are always late. Train transfers are mismanaged and a joke. All Bart employees are a overpaid lazy jokes

Eh, BART stations are all eh. Always lots of improvement to be done, at least the union knows that BART trains need new seats! This is one of the more favorite BART stations to be at. Downtown Berkeley is always swarming with kids and Ashby is always more quiet and accessible. It is relatively safe compared to MacArthur which is why I like coming to this one more when I'm meeting friends in the East Bay. The only downside is that parking is minimal and there are farmer's markets that take up the entire right side of the parking lot!
