Sometimes it is a challenge to describe what is happening to our dogs (who are well past their usual lifetime age). Jamie (receptionist) is very helpful, both in getting an understanding of what is happening and what to do about it.nDr. Barke and her son (forgot his name) are very dedicated to their work. They have to protect themselves, ie. masks on, but beyond that they are going to protect and heal your pet in the best way possiblenBetween the three of them, you can not do better for your pet.

Good service and the cost is reasonable.nStaff is courteous considering these pandemic times.

We were in the transition of finding a quality veterinarian for our two fur children as we moved to Gold Beach from California. You will find wisdom, sensitivity, and a knowledgeable helpful staff. Our girls had many physicians, specialists, and vet techs looking after them at home so we were very picky and hesitant to use local. As our eldest was in her twilight years and suffering horrible dementia episodes and sleepless nights, we knew we needed to choose a responsive emergency team if she was suffering beyond our ability to ease her discomfort. Dr. Barke and her team were exactly what I was looking for. They were sensitive to both my pet's needs as well as ours. For that we are eternally grateful for their care and guidance in helping us to say goodbye to our precious Luci when the time came and her best care protocol leading up to that time.

Dr Barke is by far the best vet in the area. She seriously cares about the animals and is definitely not in it for the money like some other vets. She has been a blessing for our little critter family and we are so thankful for her and Jamie! AAA+++
