Josh and his team worked miracles for our wedding. They made the entire venue look like an English Country Garden, which was exactly what I wanted. They also decorated a rather ho hum tent into a magical area. The table decoration, bouquets, and everything looked totally natural and as if the flowers had just grown there! and all with no fuss, and very little direction. Highly recommend this team!
We worked with Josh for our wedding flowers and he executed everything we wanted and more! He is so creative and he created the most beautiful centerpieces for our wedding. We had 2 different centerpieces on every other table, flowers for cocktail hour, flowers for our cake, our ceremony, and all our bouquets and boutonnieres, and he created the MOST beautiful arrangements for everything. The delivery team was super quick, professional, and timely. Our guests couldn't stop raving over our decorations. We are so happy we chose Stefan's Florists and would recommend Josh to any future couple! Can't wait to come back for future parties!
Could be a scam now given COVID-19- no delivery, disconnected phone line and removed email.nnMy fiancé and I ordered a pricey bouquet of flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day. First, they sent a automated confirmation email saying the flowers were to arrive on Sunday. Sunday comes and passes and we find out the bouquet was never delivered. We think there might be a delay given the pandemic situation but we received no email or call notifying us of a delay or the inability to deliver.nnWe called on Sunday but it was after hours so the phone just kept ringing. However, when we called within hours the next day there’s that automated message saying the call cannot go through or doesn’t exist meaning they disconnected their phone line sometime right after Mother’s Day.nnWe also emailed first on Mother’s Day which went through but then we emailed the next day (Monday) again on the same thread except this time an automated message says the email doesn’t exist anymore despite it going through the day before.nnI’m very confused as to if this place is a scam given the reviews that were left here. They disconnect their phone line and removed their email one day after Mother’s Day. We are wondering if it is because business was going down so they took advantage of Mother’s Day to get some money before shutting down.
Really nice people. Flowers stay good for entire week. I let them decide what to put in the bouquet and each week it is gorgeous.
I am giving Stefan’s 2 stars for our wedding given that our ceremony arch was beautiful, and the day of staff did redo my bouquet for the ceremony given how awful the original came out. Other than that, It was a horrible experience with Arlene and Stefan’s for our wedding this past Labor Day weekend. We were limited to four vendors to choose from with our venue, all of whom were obscenely overpriced, but I went with Stefan’s as they were one of the least expensive. With that said, I had itemized bills from other florists in the area from friends of mine who have recently been married in which beautiful giant centerpieces and large gorgeous bouquets were a fraction of the price I was quoted by Stefan’s. Friends of mine who paid a portion of what I paid also described experiences with their florists taking them through the creative process and designing in front of them, which certainly was not my experience with Arlene. Instead she met with us one time to show us nothing but a centerpiece (which I’d made clear I didn’t care about as compared to the bouquets), and was disrespectful to my mother the whole time who was simply asking what Arlene thought of our venue since she works it frequently, along with talking down to me the whole time about the different types of flowers to work for August (I wasn’t even very particular, I just wanted white flowers and tons of greenery...). After this meeting, Arlene sent me an update contract in which a piece that we hadn’t changed at all during the meeting was shadily updated to reflect a more expensive price than previously agreed upon. Luckily I caught it and was able to have the price adjusted correctly, but it certainly put a sour and distrustful taste in my mouth. This all would have been fine if the high prices we paid translated to quality in the end, but on the day of our wedding I received bouquets for myself and the bridal party which were nothing like the pictures I’d sent Arlene, nor what we agreed on, nor the rest of the centerpieces and arch for that matter. I’d made it abundantly clear that I wanted a textured organic look with lots of greenery, and a few flowers at most. Instead what I received was 6 bouquets of tight white roses with a few leaves. The moment I saw my own bouquet I hated it so much I immediately planned not to take any pictures or walk down the aisle with it at all. I emailed Arlene to let her know there must have been a mixup and that I needed a replacement for at least my own bouquet, and she never even responded. Luckily, I had a phenomenal wedding coordinator who ran out to assemble a brand new bouquet in the style I wanted for pictures in just a few hours and completely free of charge. When I showed some family and friends the pictures of what I sent Arlene versus what I got, one actually said “well I guess they are similar in that they are both... flowers...” In the beginning, Arlene had up sold me on some things by saying that she wanted our guests to leave asking who did our flowers. Well, they’re asking now because they saw how frustrated I was and the disparity between agreement and reality. I hope this review saves others from a lot of disappointment by going with a different florist than Stefan’s.
