Our family is very happy with Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa Texas! Thank you Sunset for handling my dad’s funeral service and burial in such a caring and professional manner. Your staff was outstanding and did a great job in helping us determine all of our final plans at one location. A special thanks to a special person, Dudley Chandler, for your kindness and love, and for making everything so personal for us. I lost my mother in February unexpectedly . My parents had been married for 70 years so it was so hard for all of us , but more so for my father.nDuring a time like this you have so much on your mind, so many decisions to make, you are trying to keep it together but it is almost impossible.nDudley was very friendly and sympathetic since the first time we met him at the hospital.nThey put up with all of us, answered endless questions and treated us like family, even when we changed our minds about some of the arrangements.nAnd this didn’t stop just then, they texted us afterwards to see how we were doing, asking if we needed anything.nI highly recommend Sunset Memorial to be your funeral home of choice, you won’t be disappointed, you’ll feel that their compassion and understanding is for real.nWhitney has been so helpful too, she certainly is an angel.nI want to thank everyone at Sunset Memorial for being there for us, for your guidance and understanding,nBrenda Gifford and family

Just a few words about my personal experience with the Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, in my time of need. My wife of over 70 years, passed away November 16, 2020. As you would expect, I was needing help, although I had family and friends for support. Mel, with Sunset, came to the house early that morning, met me and explained what to expect. Everything was handled very professionally and with kindness to me. My nephew took me to Sunset the next day where we met with Mel. We discussed all of the details and with his kindness, got all details taken care of. I picked up the legal papers a few days later. Everyone I made contact with at Sunset Memorial, were most caring and helpful. I have had several contacts, by phone or text messages. All were checking on my well-being.
