I took my dog here on Sunday night to get emergency x-rays to see if she has ingested something she shouldn't have. They promised to call me first thing Monday morning since their radiologist was not in. Monday I got no call with results or even to update me with a new time. I called today (Tuesday) and they said I might be able to expect results by the end of today, or maybe tomorrow. Don't call yourself an emergency vet if you cannot provide service on an emergency timeline. It is unacceptable to make a pet suffer waiting two days for results. Not to mention scam pet owners by charging extra for emergency services and not give answers when a pets life is on the linennUPDATE: After the staff informed me it would be up to two days to finally get x-ray results, I decided to take her to our regular vet. They re-took x-rays and got us results within the hour! My vet recommended that she be rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery to remove a foreign object from her small intestine. Her surgery ended up being overly complex and a large part of her intestine had to be removed as the foreign object was inside her for so long. These vets are completely incompetent and almost cost my dog her life. Surgery should have been recommended immediately when we brought her in, and could have prevented a lot of complications. If they do not have a technician to read x-rays immediately at an emergency vet hospital they need to let owners know this beforehand, I would have taken her elsewhere to get prompt care. Do not trust these vets if your dog is having an emergency, they treat patients at a leisurely pace, and their delays can kill your animal - watch out.

I have never been more horrified by any experience like the experience I have had at Blue Pearl. The two times I’ve used them (one in Brooklyn and one by this location) I have been treated like dirt. Different locations, but same experience. I thought I’d give it another chance given it’s proximity to my home and due to my pet’s uncharacteristic allergic reaction.nnThey were horribly unprofessional. For people that deal in animal emergencies, you’d think they would focus on customer service and be trained to talk to people in duress. Not them. The person that took my call was annoyed from the get go, short in responses, and ultimately said the doctor doesn’t want to see my pet because of our exchange.nnThey should be shut down as a practice. Do not go here.

Great staff and communication. I had to take my cat in because he was throwing up and lethargic. They provided Timely updates and were very friendly. He’s feeling much better and I trust they treated him well

I called in the middle of the night after I accidentally trimmed my dog's nails too short and it started to bleed. They helped and guides me through how to tend to it, and they couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. Would definitely recommend to any pet owners in need.

Terrible experience with the Vet Tech. Absolutely void of any compassion. My dog ingested human feces at a park and started displaying signs of being drugged. Tech was rude and awkward. For such a forward facing position, and dealing with people’s loved ones, this clinic could really do better.
