I had to deal with the unexpected death of my mother. I wanted her to be where her family is buried in Smithville. From my first phone call to them until the present which is weeks later, I have been treated with such compassion and understanding. My mother had lived most of her life in south Texas so we did not have a local minster to perform the burial service. Jimmie Cottle , the funeral director offered. It was the most beautiful service I could have asked for . It was so sincere and gave me such a sense of peace when putting my mother to rest. She looked beautiful as well. They’ve been happy to answer all my questions even still today. I’ve also received a follow up text to see how I’m doing. Such lovely people there. No one wants to bury a loved one but when the time comes and you need to look for a funeral home, I highly recommend Marrs-Jones Funeral Home.
