This was the worst vet experience I have ever had. We took our 14 year old lab in because she wasn’t eating well, losing weight, and drinking a ton of water all the time. They took us in, did a fecal test, x rays, and bloodwork. The entire time we had spoken to Dr. Morton, he called our female dog a he. This annoyed us because it felt like he couldn’t care enough to even say the gender of the dog right. He could find absolutely nothing wrong with her aside from some bone spurs and a high blood level that he said could be fixed with an IV. He also stated that her hips were in great shape, when she literally has been diagnosed with arthritis and takes medicine for it in her hips. When he was speaking at the end of our visit Dr. Morton continued to call our dog a he. I asked him to please call her, Gloria, a she. I was already distraught as this is my husbands dog he has had since he was 9. Dr. Morton basically went off on me about how that was the least of his worries, he had a lot bigger things going on right now, and spoke in an incredibly demeaning tone. I literally was crying in his office after he spoke to me the way he did. He continued talking about the blood work, my husband cut him off saying that the way he spoke to me was disrespectful. He attempted to continue talking about the blood work, but my husband continued to tell him that what he just said was disrespectful and he should apologize. Dr. Morton then apologized to my husband, and continued speaking about blood work. Finally, he told us our options to which my husband said to just give us the bill and we’re taking her somewhere else. He apologized again to my husband and said that the way he acted would just “eat him up for a while” and finally turned and said he was sorry to me. The vet tech, Amanda, was so sweet and apologized to us and got us our bill. We took her to another vet and got a proper diagnostic on her and the issue has been found and corrected. If you want a rude, patronizing, disrespectful, and insensitive vet, go see Dr. Morton.

Dr. Morton is lovely. He was so kind to my injured semi-feral cat. I will return with both my cats. If you are looking for a vet look no further. This clinic is the best I have ever experienced. 5 stars.

We found a dog last Friday or this past Friday and we took dream to our home and she got sick on us on Sunday morning she was not eating had a little bit of diarrhea and vomiting and then this morning today Tuesday March 30th she woke up with some blood in her blankets from her private area we call Brookhollow they said I could surrender the dog since we couldn't afford treatment or euthanasia. And Miss Cassidy what's the person I spoke on the phone with and she said to take her in and once we were there they were going to check the dog out to see if they could do anything for it before they did euthanasia honor and I am glad that they are willing to Save a Life of a dog or a pet before administering euthanasia I hope and I pray that they can heal her from her problems and find her a good home adoption home and that everything will go well if not I pray that they would do the Humane thing which I know they will and administer euthanasia I keep the dog from suffering they were very very kind and they gave me no problems whatsoever I just have to sign a form surrendering a dog and they took possession of the dog that we found this past Friday I will highly recommend this place to any dog owner because they are very very kind people and very humbled.

Dr. Morton and Dr. Swanberg and their entire staff truly care about your animals well being. I learn from Dr. Morton every time he treats one of my animals. They are great and I know I can count on them to give the best care for my animals.
