Twice I called for an emergency and twice they came out right away!! They were very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, explained everything. Would definitely use them again

Took great care of my horse. Definitely a no-nonsense vet with a huge wealth of knowledge. One one of the few who have been able to work with my naughty gelding.

This review has nothing to do with services rendered, but rather the lack of communication with this vet. Promises of call backs, alternative treatment information, and overall check-ins have fallen to the wayside. With multiple ill animals, the lack of information and care shown has been disheartening. Especially when combined with the cost of treatments that may or may not have been essential. Disappointed.

They are quick to respond to emergency calls and very efficient. My experiences with them have been great and would refer them to anyone.

Jim Maxwell is the best vet I have ever had! Have used him since he came to the area (8 yrs+). Amazingly thorough and also extremely honest. Top notch care. Respected by NC State & others if you need additional help in an emergency and have to take your horse to the hospital. Dr. Maxwell is extremely upfront with any horse management needed & choices. Also his joint injections on my horses spine & SI have been amazing. I cannot say enough about how wonderful he is!!
