They go above and beyond and after an incident needing emergency after hours care on a weekend, they solidified themselves in my heart. This place (both Dr Buttress and Dr Root) truly care about the animals they care for and their owners. I have horses, dogs, and cats and their services excel across the board. The accident with my dog also made me realize how lacking and uncaring some of the local vets (in Rolla) are compared to the team they have in Houston.nI initially called another vet I use on occasion and the after hours reception lady at the Rolla location (Animal Health Center) would not even agree to call the vet until we agreed to pay an upfront fee of $100 BEFORE my dog would have been seen and added to the cost of final bill. The money wasn't the issue but they sure acted like it was a big burden to care for a hurt animal.nDr Buttress and Dr Root, again a BIG THANK YOU for what you do to care for our animals. I will never look elsewhere, and my drive time to get there is over an hour but well worth it!@@

Dr. Buttress is the best vet I have ever contacted. His heart is truely for you and your animals. He offered so much when I had to bring my little ones in there. He absolutely took his time to get her where she needed to be. Thank you!! You are amazing. I will absolutely be seeing you again.

I will only take my animals somewhere else if I move away, the staff here is awesome and they are very caring folks who do an awesome job every day! Both vets are great vets but Dr Buttress has been my bet the longest and has always done a super job no matter what I have for him to do.
